Chapter 1: Spring Break Sucks

When you think of spring break, you think of hanging out with friends, going out of town, spending time with that special someone, and just having an obscene amount of fun before school starts back in a week. Well, that is not how my spring break is going at all.
Today started off with possibilities. I had planned on going shopping with the girls and talking to my boyfriend Stephen { who is currently out of town visiting his parents}, but unfortunately that is not how things worked out. I couldn't call my friend Danielle to go shopping because she told me yesterday that she had plans to hang out with this guy that she used to date, so i scratched her name off of the list. Then I called my friend Rene, the one girl who loves to shop, but she doesnt feel like going anywhere today because she just got off of work. So it looks like I am stuck shopping alone. Sucks right?
Just when i thought things couldnt get any worse, my boyfriend texted me. I am supposed to be happy about this, and I was, until i saw the message. I'm thinking its going to say something like "goodmorning babe" or "hey are u up", ya know something like that. But NO! he asked me would i have a problem with his friend coming to stay with him for a couple of days. Why would i have a problem with it? I havent seen him but one day since spring break started. He is in his hometown hanging out with his friends and now he wants to bring them back here to spend the rest of spring break with him?!?!?! Then he has to take him BACK to his hometown when he is ready to leave. Where is the him and me time that I took off of work a whole week for?!?!....I guess I dont get any time. So, being the good girlfriend that I am, of course i dont have a problem with it. And to top things off, that was the only message that i got from him and he has yet to respond.
So, just when i come to the conclusion that my spring break is going to suck, i get more bad news. Apparently my car has some kind of leak in it, so my dad wants to take it to the shop so that it can be fixed. I'm thinking " ok thats fine, its only going to be in there one day....." NO! it is going to be in the shop for a couple of days. Not only am i shop-friendless and boyfriend-less, I am now car-less. My spring break isnt going to suck....its going to be a living hell.
